Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the services of MGT Montgomery Masonry, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services. These terms apply to all visitors, customers, and others who access or use our services.
Services Description
MGT Montgomery Masonry provides masonry and related construction services including but not limited to brick repair, chimney services, tuckpointing, stone installations, retaining walls, patios, and other masonry work. All services are subject to availability and will be provided in accordance with our standard business practices and applicable building codes.
Estimates and Pricing
We provide free estimates for our services. All estimates are based on the information available at the time of inspection and are valid for 30 days. Prices are subject to change if project scope, materials, or site conditions differ from what was assessed during the initial consultation. Any changes to the project scope or pricing will be communicated to you in writing before proceeding with additional work.
Payment Terms
Payment terms will be specified in your project contract. For larger projects, we typically require a deposit to cover materials and scheduling, with the balance due upon completion. We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards. Payment is due within the timeframe specified in your contract. Late payments may be subject to interest charges as permitted by law.
Warranties and Guarantees
We stand behind our workmanship and offer warranties on our services as specified in your project contract. The warranty period and coverage vary depending on the type of work performed. Material warranties are provided by the manufacturers and are separate from our workmanship warranty. Any warranty claims must be reported to us in writing within a reasonable time after discovery.
Project Scheduling and Delays
We make every effort to complete projects within the estimated timeframe. However, completion dates may be affected by weather conditions, material availability, unforeseen site conditions, or other factors beyond our control. We will communicate any delays as soon as they are known and work with you to minimize any inconvenience.
Site Access and Property Protection
You agree to provide reasonable access to the work area and ensure that the site is clear of obstacles that could interfere with our work. We will take reasonable precautions to protect your property during the project, but we are not responsible for damage to underground utilities, sprinkler systems, or other features that are not visible or marked prior to work beginning.
Changes and Cancellations
If you wish to make changes to the project scope after work has begun, you must notify us in writing. We will provide you with a revised estimate for the additional work. If you need to cancel a scheduled project, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellation fees may apply if materials have already been ordered or work has begun.
Liability Limitations
We carry comprehensive liability insurance and workers compensation coverage. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the services provided. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for consequential damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.
Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises from our services, we encourage you to contact us directly to resolve the issue. If we cannot reach a resolution, any disputes will be resolved through mediation or arbitration in Montgomery County, Alabama, in accordance with Alabama law. You agree to waive any right to a jury trial.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
